Shall I tell you about my cousin whose palace is unfinished?

His cousin, a generous and thoughtful man, married with a woman, despite of his family disapproval and after some time they had two children. But he began to see another woman. His family discovered the betrayal and pressured him to end the relation with her. Finally he conceded to his family´s demands and now they have a future home, under construction, an unfinished palace.

Shall I tell you about the boy who dreams the world?

Eternity, the text stars with this word and makes a description of it. The boy of the story tries to think about what he will do when he arrives to heaven and how he could avoid eternity in heaven because he thinks that he will bore a lot with anything to do for all the eternity and it would drive a person mad. So he wanted to escape finite limitations. Then one night he realize that the finite limitation was himself , he would pass eternity in paradise by living as each and everything that could ever live. And after that he realized that all his life now was simply a dream he dreamt from paradise.

Shall I tell you about my uncle, whose life is a test?

His uncle was a warm person, patient and tells jokes in a soft voice. When he was young he travelled to a tropical country and he fell in love with it. But he married to a woman who lived in the North that hated this tropical country so they lived separately and their children grew up with parents living in different countries. His uncle one day told the author a story of a man whose wife was a devil but when she died he cried uncontrollably so all his neighbors asked why he was crying, because he was free in that moment. And he answered that this woman was his test, his purpose in life. So is this life a test?

Shall I tell you about my love? She is near to me always.

He talks about his love, how they met and how she found him twice. They were in a costume party the first time they met, she went where he was and told him that she wanted his warm. They talked for hours, and after leaving the party she granted him a kiss and arranged to meet another time when he returned from a travel he had to make. He passed all the days thinking about her. He was so certain of the intensity of his love that sometimes frightened. He shows her the love he feels for her every day.

The narrator talks about her sister, who was suffering because she was in love. She met a man when she went to visit her brother and soon they fell in love and she moved to the same city where he lived. They had two children and problems came because she wasn´t very keen on children and also her parents were afraid because she was engaged with a man of a lower social class. They wanted her brother to intervene on their behalf. It was a dilemma that life presents them. She finally developed a wonderful relationship with children but the lovers were disturbed by the mounting pressure. Eventually she became exhausted and looked for ways of healing.

Shall I tell you of my water, which is getting thirsty?

He describes the water as something alive that can dance, move or run in some places as if it were a wild horse running. But then says that in some places the water is thirsty, it has changed its colour, it has stopped moving or it has lost its strength as if it were dead or hurt.

Shall I tell you about the stars, why they respond so slowly?

He describes the change that the stars have suffered. As he does with water, he talks about the stars as if they were people, with feelings. He remembers that when he was young all the stars lived together, but bow they have to spread in the entire universe due to the emptiness of the sky. Now when you want to speak to them you must address them individually, you must look directly at each one and speak clearly but softly. The distance is greater than you think.

Shall I tell you about the land where people rush to cross?

The narrator presents us a strange land where were lots of signs, instructions, prohibitions and rules but mostly people done as they pleased. The only rules that were enforced were those in favor of the people in power. He says that the land cannot forget anything and it has got lots of marks of everything that has happened. The only thing that it wants is someone to listen its stories and also to wait for its rebirth. But, will we be there to see it?

Perhaps I should tell you that the whole world is determined to become my family.

He affirms that whole world is determined to become his family, which are knocking on the door. Some are scared, some confused but others are over enjoyed. He told them not to hurry and to be calm because everything happens in due time.
